The thyroid is a storage place in the throat where all air, food and water that enters the body passes through. This throat area is like a border patrol to treat incoming infections entering the country, your body.
Food and water.
When we eat and swallow the thyroid shakes up and down to release some iodine into the food or water that we swallowed.
Blood
The majority of blood that travels to your brain, eyes, ears, nose and throat first passes through the thyroid to pick up some iodine.
The master gland, like the conductor of an orchestra, signals the whole immune team on how loud to play, how much iodine to release into the bloodstream versus how much to keep in storage.
All of the air that we breathe passes through the thyroid area and iodine can evaporate into the air to keep the lungs from an infection.
--> Lymph
The lymph system is extensive with the thyroid near the top to release iodine into the system. An extensive network which also travels down the neck, under the arms and into the breast tissue. A woman has a thyroid twice the size of a man so that it can store more iodine to release down into the breasts. Most breast cancer is from low levels of iodine. The most common location of breast cancer is along the lymph path from the arm pit towards the nipple. The larger thyroid in women helps to keep from going bald, blind or deaf. In fact women outlive men and in part from a more robust thyroid. Women tend to see colors better, hear better, have better language skills from a robust thyroid.
-Weak thyroid is often a precursor to breast cancer
Kidney problems can be reduced by supplying enough iodine along with zinc
Hyper-thyroid
When we have an infection in places like the kidney the conductor (pituitary) signals the thyroid to release more iodine into the blood that can then go to the kidney. The kidneys are highly dependent on the thyroid.
heart and immune system is stimulated
The germs that cause infections are often found in air, food and water that have learned to target the thyroid with enzymes, antigens and antibodies to weaken the thyroid so that they can live comfortably in our body without being killed by iodine.
-hypo is once the infection is established for long term occupation
heart and immune system is weakened
Thyroid hormones
Should be adjusted carefully and slowly, no sudden change or the immune system becomes compromised and fails to protect us from infections.
it actually nas nothing to do with the actual thyroid health, a big mistake
Pink Himalayan sea salt is the worst for the thyroid.
